Quantitative Urine Drug Confirmation Testing
Andor Lab’s Pain Management Urine Confirmation Test Program includes drugs and metabolites from 17 categories. All Confirmation Testing is performed using Liquid Chromatography and Atmospheric Pressure Ionization Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC–API MS/MS) technology. LC-MS/MS is considered the “gold standard” for identification of drugs in biological specimens and provides the highest level of certainty in drug testing.
To increase confidence in test results, Andor Labs chooses to confirm both intact drug and a major metabolite in many cases.

Specimen Shipping/ Pickup
Andor Labs can provide a supply of collection cups and shipping supplies to any client facility. Overnight shipping via FedEx is usually the most efficient mode of transportation for specimens from the client facility to Andor Labs. Within a 50-mile radius of our laboratory we can provide daily pickup via our courier service.
Andor Labs will supply requistion forms and shipping supplies (if requested) to any client facility.
Recommended Collection Cup
Andor Labs recommends the CLIA-waived and FDA-approved OneScreen Multi-Drug Test Cups which generate results within minutes of activation. CLIAS waived test cups are a convenient tool for medical staff to use as a preliminary measure of drug exposure.

Validity and Semi-Quantitative Urine Drug Screening
Andor Labs subjects all urine specimens to Validity Testing prior to any further testing. Validity Testing determines if the specimen is consistent with human urine (i.e., not adulterated) and ensures high integrity of confirmation test results.

Andor Labs offers semi-quantitative urine drug screening with use of an Olympus Analyzer from Beckman Coulter. These tests can replace or be an adjunct to initial qualitative drug screening performed in the clinic with use of a collection cup. Andor can customize a list for each client facility based on the clinical practice requirements upon request.
